Fr. Lauro G. de Dios, OP, Elected Prior for a Second Term

The Dominican Province of the Philippines warmly congratulates Rev. Fr. Lauro G. de Dios, OP, on his election to a second term as Prior of St. Albert the Great Convent in Calamba City, Laguna. He was formally installed as Prior on July 12, 2026. His reelection expresses the community’s renewed trust in his leadership and dedication to the Dominican life and mission.

We pray that the Lord may grant Fr. Lauro wisdom, strength, and humility as he continues to guide the brothers in their common life and apostolic ministry. Through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Dominic, and St. Albert the Great, may the conventual community grow in unity and remain faithful to the Order’s mission of preaching the Gospel for the salvation of souls.
